HPV - High Performance Vertical
The Philips Gardco square arm mounted high performance vertical products are sharp cutoff luminaires for high intensity discharge lamps up to 1000 watts. The HPV can accept one of two (2) interchangeable and rotatable precision segmented optical systems. These optical systems utilize principles of Philips Gardco's patented Form 10X technology applied to vertical lamp optics. The result yields the highest performance possible from a full cutoff vertical lamp system.
The side-pole mount HPV luminaires are attached to the poles with an extruded aluminum arm which effects a subtle distancing of the luminaire from the pole, without the use of any exposed hardware. Simplicity of design assures good looks in single, twin, three and four-way configurations. All Philips Gardco housings are permanently sealed and gasketed to be rain-tight, dust-resistant, and insect-proof. The HPV style features one piece, multiformed aluminum with an integral reinforcing spline and a single concealed joint. Tops are press formed with a returned perimeter flange which is internally welded with the housing sides. The HPV units are finished with a TGIC Polyester powdercoat.
